A seasoned and successful business executive and entrepreneur, Steve Wright has over 30 years experience in financial services and product development.  Mr. Wright joined Aequitas as a principal in 2003 to lead the development efforts of the healthcare group with a specific focus to CarePayment program.  Prior to joining Aequitas in 2003, Mr. Wright held positions with the Microfield Group, Inc. (now known as EnergyConnect Group, Inc.) including Chief Operating Officer, CEO and Director.  EnergyConnect Group is a publicly traded firm specializing in the acquisition of electrical, technology and energy-related businesses.

Prior to joining the Microfield Group, Mr. Wright co-founded Card Capture Services, Inc. in 1993 and successfully grew the company to over $90M in annual revenue by 2000 when it was sold to E*Trade.  In 1997, Mr. Wright was named by the Oregon Entrepreneurs Forum and Portland Business Journal as the Oregon Service Entrepreneur of the Year.  He graduated from the University of Oregon College of Business Administration with majors in Marketing and Management and currently serves on the Board of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Columbia Northwest.
