Aequitas Sponsors Governors' Gold Awards

We’re excited to announce our sponsorship of this year’s Governors’ Gold Awards on October 11th, 2011. This is an outstanding opportunity for those involved to join Oregon’s Governors and pay tribute to the individuals, companies, organizations, and communities that have contributed to the greatness of Oregon throughout this year. All proceeds from this event go on to benefit Special Olympics Oregon, a unique organization serving Special Olympics athletes statewide since 1972.

Special Olympics Oregon serves close to 7,000 participants throughout the state, and works continuously to affect the nearly 70,000 other individuals with intellectual disabilities who could benefit from participating in Special Olympics. Still growing, Special Olympics Oregon is efficiently expanding programs to get closer and closer to serving every individual with intellectual disabilities that qualifies to participate in Special Olympics.

As past immediate Chair of Special Olympics Oregon, it’s with great pride that my firm, Aequitas Capital Management, Inc., is able to give back to an organization that has provided so much in the lives of Oregonians over these past 40 years.
